Tanglewood Forest – South Austin
The subdivision of Tanglewood Forest is located off of Slaughter Lane, just to 
the west of Manchaca Road. This is a well established neighborhood with homes situated on moderate sized lots that are shaded by large old oak trees. Tanglewood Forest has an active HOA that maintains a beautiful park with a clubhouse, swimming pool, and tennis courts. The HOA also provides residents with local area activities, contracts for waste and recycling services, enforces deed restrictions, provides for graffiti removal and extra security. Tanglewood Forest is a neighborhood that offers affordable homes on lots that appear to be well maintained, with varying styles and floor plans, nice roomy yards with plenty of shade, located in an easily accessible area of South Austin.

Residents are conveniently located to take advantage of area shopping, entertainment and great restaurants. To the east is Southpark Meadows with numerous major retailers and local businesses. To the west are many smaller centers that provide a variety of shops and restaurants. Situated as it is off Slaughter Lane, residents have access to major roadways east and west that allow them to travel to all areas of the Greater Austin Metro area. Buda and Kyle to the south, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park and Leander to the north and northwest are also readily available via I-35, Loop 1, SH 45 and SH 130.
